Black Swallow Rice Hulls

Rice hulls have been used to contribution aeration to compacted soils and soil mixes!

They have a very high silica content, which is released to the soil over time as they break down!

Application:

Most soil mixes aim for approximately 30% aeration by volume.

Equivalency Measurement- One cubic foot is about 8.74 lbs, or slightly over 1 lb per gallon.
