HydroLogic membrane filters use reverse osmosis (RO) to push water through a tight microscopic barrier, removing up to 98% of dissolved minerals and impurities. They are mostly used in gardening and hydroponics to create ultra-pure water.

Key Facts

  • How it works: Imagine a microscopic net that only allows water molecules to pass while trapping larger salts and chemicals.
  • Lifespan: Replace your membrane every 6 months to 2 years, depending on your local water quality.
  • Replacement indicators: Replace the filter if water production slows or the filter removes less than 90% of total dissolved solids (TDS).
  • Setup: You must always use sediment and carbon pre-filters before the RO membrane. These pre-filters remove dirt and chlorine, preventing them from damaging the membrane.

Replacement Models

  • Stealth-RO 150/300: These units use the Stealth-RO 150™ Membrane, filtering up to 150 gallons of pure water per day.
  • Evolution-RO: This high-flow system uses dual dry membranes and a ChloraShield® Filter for chloramine removal.

Membrane 150GPD for Stealth-RO

Product Code: 143227

Filters up to 150 GPD (gallons per day) of ultra-pure, low PPM water. Reduces 98% of PPM of total dissolved solids. Replace when product water flow rate decreases and or when PPM increase. Discard all water to drain for 1 hour prior to use. Stealth-RO150 uses one membrane/Stealth-RO300 uses two membranes.

IMPORTANT: Using non-original filters or membranes will VOID warranty.
