Oyster Shell Flour

Calcium is the work horse nutrient in ones garden, promoting strong root growth while improving nutrient uptake and the plant's ability to resist pathogens. There are a number of sources from which you can source calcium, however oyster shell flour is a very high quality source because it consists of 96% calcium carbonate, along with many micronutrients. Ground down to a fine powder, it provides a steady release of nutrients through the action of the soil microbiology, and helps to regulate ph levels along the way.

APPLICATION

For soil mixes, use at a rate of 1 cup per cubic foot of mix.
