Collection: Transplanting

Transplanting is a very important process in the garden and one that can't be avoided!

How to transplant in soil or coco:

  1. Remove the plant from its pot
  2. Inspect the roots. If roots are completely covered in soil, tease them gently apart. If they are concentrated at the bottom, loosen them thoroughly
  3. Place plant in a prepared hole. It should sit at soil lever, or a little higher, if your soil is loose and sandy
  4. Firm the soil around the plant with your hands for added support
  5. Water well. Watering will encourage the plant's roots to grow into the soil. It also helps the plant to settle firmly into the new medium
